Stanridge Welcomes Robin Gemperle

Stanridge taps Swiss rider Robin Gemperle to pilot Fixed Crit Carbon/Steel Prototype Frame in 2017.


Bedford, KY: Today Adam Eldridge /Stanridge Cycles, a bespoke international frame builder announces the addition of 21 year old UCI junior Robin Gemperle to the Stanridge Fixed Crit Team joining British rider Hayley Edwards.


On the RHC prototype, Founder Adam Eldridge said “I’ll be testing the new prototype Carbon and Steel fixed crit frame this year. The first frame using carbon I’ve made for high level fixed crit competition. I’m excited to get Robin’s feedback.” “Having riders achieve multiple top podium spots in the RHC as an independent builder has been some of the best moments in the Eight years of Stanridge.” said Eldridge.


Gemperle competed unattached in 2016 achieving great success with a final result of 28 in his first year of competition having never been on a fixed gear bike. Eldridge approached Gemperle at the London RHC and entered into negotiations after the Milano RHC.


Gemperle XC MTB racing career includes many UCI world cups spanning a three year period over the mountains of Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic and South America.


Stanridge once again welcomes Mavic technical sponsorship. Hi-Fi wheels will join the team this year providing wheel sponsorship. Endo Customs a bespoke kit maker in LA will once again provide kits. “I’m very grateful for the support.” says Eldridge. FSA has offered a generous program for us to pull from this year once again providing bar’s and cranks.
